Most WBTek contracts are made in US dollars (USD). It is possible to pay in Ethereum (ETH) too, but only on the Arbitrum One network. Most exchanges and wallets allow you to specify the amount of a coin to be sent in USD. When ETH is sent on the Arbitrum network, the destination receives bridged Ethereum (ETH.arb) in its Arbitrum wallet.
Please only use the Arbitrum network when sending Ethereum (ETH) to WBTek. Do not use the ETH mainnet, as it can be much slower and far more costly.
ETH on Ethereum Mainnet can take an hour and $200 when busy.
ETH on Arbitrum doesn’t get stuck without gas the way USDT and USDC can. It is the gas. You only have to think about one coin. Also, ETH.arb is backed 1:1 with ETH locked on the Ethereum mainnet, giving it the same value and stability.
ETH.arb can be sent from most exchanges by selecting the Arbitrum network when sending ETH. The sending fees are usually lower for the Arbitrum network, reflecting lower gas costs. Just make sure the destination wallet supports the Arbitrum One network and ETH on Arbitrum.
Double-check settings and send a small test transaction
Whether you use a wallet or a centralized exchange (CEX), please make sure the correct network (Arbitrum One) is selected. Double-check the recipient’s wallet address to avoid losing funds, and verify that the amount is being specified in USD if submitting a USD payment. We recommend sending a small test transaction (e.g., $1 worth of ETH) first as a precaution.
Please contact us after making a transfer
This helps us verify the transaction promptly and ensures your funds are credited correctly. Include your name, email address, USD value sent, ETH.arb amount, time of transfer and purpose. You can use the contact form for this. Note that verification is done manually during Tokyo business hours.
